After spending a day in Northern Ireland, we took the ferry from Ireland to Scotland & made a bee line for the infamous Isle of Skye. The combination of snow & pastel colour skies against the panoramic backdrop at the top of The Old Man of Storr, made for one of favourite Scotland memories. We were off to a great start!

The rest of our trip was made up of driving through much of North Coast 500 (NC500) Route. The route is famed for being one of the world's most epic roadtrips and it certainly lived up to the hype. We were treated to lochs, castles, mountains, wild & rugged landscapes, highland cows & reindeer. What's not to love?

Our other highlights include hiking Beinn Eighe Mountain Trail (Britain’s oldest National Nature Reserve), bird watching at Dunnet Head (most northerly point of both mainland U.K.), feeding 100+ ducks simultaneously at Cairngorms National Park & eating our way through the best vegan spots in Scotland's historical capital, Edinburgh.

As always, we captured our Vanlife Scotland adventures on film so you could come along.
